Big Dance PledgeDance the Pledge in the West Midlands

  • Sign up and learn the moves online using the free resources at bigdance.org.uk
  • Then film or photograph yourself doing the Pledge (by a local landmark or street sign would be great, but it could be anywhere!)
  • We’ll share your photos, videos, tweets and comments on this blog if you tag them with #dfbigd

Clare Wood, Dancefest’s Worcestershire Dance Worker, has selected her 5 favourite moves in the video below – but you can use any that you like.

If youd like to join in or  to find out more, get in touch with Clare Wood at clare@dancefest.co.uk.

The Big Dance Pledge is a chance to learn, make and perform dance with the rest of the world. This special 5th edition is created by Scottish Ballet with fun and celebration at its heart, as part of the Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme of the XX Commonwealth Games.

Perform as part of the two simultaneous performances on 16 May from wherever you are to be part of a unique wave of dancing across the world.
